Context
Final project
The present work aims to develop a digital solution in the form of a mobile application focused on organizing the routine of caregivers responsible for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This work was done as an applied final project for course completion, using a methodological basis and the principles of UX/UI Design.
CHALLENGE
How can the design can improve the lives of parents of children with ASD?

Test
The project was divided into 5 parts, following the Design Thinking methodology. This is merely a demonstration of the robust research and does not complete the project as a whole, focusing only on the main learnings, development, and results.
Research
Problems
More data, more knowledge
Insights about the surveys
Through deskresearch on ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) in articles, podcasts, and books, we were able to understand the main challenges faced by individuals with this condition and all the difficulties related to the child's development.
The invisible pain
Through conversations with psychologists, it was highlighted how the pains (or difficulties) of the parents are often overlooked and the lack of attention given to the caregivers of autistic children, whether in their own routines or within their support network.
Mothers Overweight
We also spoke with parents, and it was noted how the mother is often overwhelmed in raising a child with ASD, being the primary person responsible for managing a household with special needs, in addition to work, relationships, health, etc.
The mainly problems
Busy Routines
Difficulties in organizing the childcare routine.
Overload
Families face emotional, physical, and time overload.
Tools
Lack of digital tools focused on the reality of users
Personas defined

All personas were based on the interviewed
Expectations
Parents first
A tool focused on parents and capable of assisting them in their routines.
Smart reminders
Smart reminders to help you accomplish your daily tasks.
Support network
A way to connect the support network to the family's routine.

Branding
Since we are communicating with parents and caregivers, it is necessary to establish a visual identity that conveys trust while simultaneously having a cheerful vibe for their children. To achieve this, we conducted typographic and color tests that communicate what we desired for the user.
Prototype
System
A simplified system was developed that allows for a scalable and friendly product with the addition of future features, new standards, or structural changes that cater to the best user experience. I feel it is important to emphasize that the project had a greater focus on its research, as the execution time for the final product ended up being compromised at the end.

Final considerations
Learnings
Throughout the project, my work partner Daniel Caliare and I erred, succeeded, learned, and discussed points that we could have paid more attention to or sought external help for things that were not within our domain. These primarily include:
How to share the work time between the tasks
How to Prioritize your goals and challenges
Improve interview management and learn ways to overcome unforeseen circumstances.
And the craft time is essential and needs be respected
